The story — 2016 → 2026
odontOS began as a custom practice-management build — scheduling, charting, patient records and billing — crafted end-to-end for a dental practice preparing to open.
The practice never opened and the project was retired — but the work was kept, because good engineering compounds.
A decade later it became odontOS — a modern, API-first platform built on OpenDental by romanov.solutions × alphagentic.io, now in development with its first partner practice.
